The committee

St Margaret’s Hall is managed by a committee of volunteers from Alderwasley parish, overseen by four trustees. The committee meets four times a year and holds an AGM.

  • To promote and maintain an attractive venue for occasional hire for parties, celebrations, meetings, functions etc.
  • To organise occasional social functions for the benefit of the local community
  • To generate and maintain sufficient funds to finance the upkeep of the building
  • To determine governance of Village Hall activities including the fees chargeable to users
  • To satisfy the national Big Lottery Fund that the hall has provided sufficient benefits to justify their considerable grant

The Management Committee aims to organise four village social activities/events per annum. All Alderwasley residents are welcome to attend and assist with the planning, organising and running of events. Please refer to the meeting dates below.
